All around my house I am finding evidence that I am moving towards a new phase of my life. Yup, it can't be denied. Soon I will be sharing my domicile with another person, for an extended period of time. And, unlike a child that occupies a separate bedroom, this one will be sharing the same space; the same bed. Quite an adjustment for me.
I noticed the little details of this change as I walked around my house just the other day, right after my trip to take Mark to the airport.
Unmistakeable is the bed used by two, and the men's pajamas on the chair next to his side of the bed.
Finally, the fact that I have emptied drawers for Mark to use. Yup, there's no turning back now.
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and begin that downward slide towards the Christmas holiday, I am preparing to make room in my life for my partner, full time.
Wow, this is something I am really looking forward to. Right now, life is real good!
