Afternoon conferences, tutoring and then home. Mark drove me to work on Wednesday, early enough to be on time for an 8am meeting; only to find out, no meeting. I think I spent most of the day tired. So tired that I did not even feel like eating dinner. My mom's shortbread hit the spot and then on with the evening.
Mark and I had planned a really low key night, a little paperwork and then National Treasure 2. So that's what we did.
The upstairs tree, while still undecorated, provides the perfect amount of background light and I love the glow of the little white lights. I am also loving the fact that Mark is here. This holiday season, while rushed to this point, is made all the more special because I get to share it with him. Perhaps after our annual trip to New York, things will slow down just a bit.
So looking forward to all of the traditional holiday revelry. So looking forward to sharing the holiday with Mark. So love this time of year. So happy.
