Yesterday I spent almost the entire evening catching up on my blog, watching holiday programming and trying to prepare for a scrapbooking workshop at my house on Thursday evening. My afternoon professional development workshop was rescheduled and I was able to make it home early. Thank goodness - I get so far behind on everything this time of year and this year, more than ever.
I love having Mark here but I find I need to learn to balance individual stuff and couple stuff. Not good at the balance just yet but I continue to work on it. Tuesday we made a "date" to watch the original Miracle on 34th Street. We met, 9:30 sharp, in the family room. I am used to working through the programming but when it is a "date", the computer is shut down and I am planted in a chair.
My mom is feeling better. As of Tuesday she was still in the hospital, feeling just a wee bit frustrated that she was not being discharged. All in good time!
I am anticipating having some time over the weekend to actually begin to assemble my December Daily Album. Love the opportunity to play with paper!! Perhaps the weather will cooperate and it will snow. Looking forward to being snowed in!
