Boy oh Boy. You would think I would have an easier time sticking to a schedule now that school is out but no! Although I must admit, my album was done and is up to day. Even the photos were taken, but the posting, that has taken me a while. Two days away without a computer certainly contributed to my dilemma!
Delicious food, and time to cook it, was the story at the beginning of the week. We love shopping at the farmers' market and using the fresh veggies to cook. Yum. On Tuesday of this week I ventured into Philly for a date with my son. The Devil's Den was quiet and it was nice to have some time to catch up with each others' lives.
Jessica posted a really cool shot to her facebook page on Wednesday so I copied and printed it for the album. I just love that our Project Life album will include pieces of stories that I was not actually a part of but that really, when put together, tell the story of the whole family!
Wednesday was field day at school. I just love the way the beach towels looked strewn across the lawn with remnants of snacks sprinkled around them. It was a busy training day at my house and, with just three days left of school, everything seemed a little rushed.
Thursday, school all day. The students were only there until one so there was time to accomplish some of those dreaded end of the year tasks. Right after school I journeyed up to New York City for a triathlon training meeting and a dinner date with Jess. It was a great night. I learned a great deal and had a nice visit with Jess! Since Jess was reticent about getting her photo taken, I snapped a picture of Madison Square Garden while we sat outside waiting for my train.
Friday afternoon I mentioned to Mark that I needed a cool, sweet, summery sort of drink. So, he found a place that fit the bill. I am not a big drinker, but every once in a while a nice cool drink just allows my body to relax! I just love that picture of my pretty pink drink!
It was a pretty relaxing Saturday. Following doctor's orders, I am spending more time inside and in the shade, in an attempt to protect the new skin on my arms. This is not easy.
I have not looked at anyone's Project Life posts from this week, being away from the computer really hinders that! Today I am praying for rain and the opportunity to catch up on the computer. I am always inspired by what others do.
I am going to share my link over at The Mom Creative where Jessica has a couple of videos about her process and catching up.
As always, if you are the least bit interested in Project Life, I urge you to check out Becky Higgins' site. I just love recording our family happenings this way. Takes the stress out of the process and allows me to go with the flow. Just love it!
