Week 26, my first full week of summer vacation. A very low key, getting things done kind of week. There was plenty of sleeping in, at least on my part. And there was even some getting up at a reasonable hour. Shock! Staying up late to read is a new habit that I am thoroughly enjoying. The garden is coming along thanks to Mark's diligence. Really, Thursday and Friday were very productive in that realm, even though we took time to shop for garden things.
We sampled more New Jersey wines, bought a new bird bath and filled the horse trough with soil and vegetables. I had a job interview on Wednesday that did not go well and an appointment at the burn center that went very well. I'm ahead I believe!
I had to stop running while I deal with a bum knee, but that allowed time for Mark and I to walk together. One of our favorite places to walk to is our local library, which I love. We even got to spoon on Friday as we walked the boulevard in our new town center.
Saturday, after our weekly trip to the farm market, I put up blinds and curtains in the house. The blinds have been taking up space in the corners of my bedroom since I replaced the windows. That was too many years ago to mention. I felt very productive. There are no inserts this week, no extra pages, just simple. Sometimes that is the only way to go!
I am going to share my link over at The Mom Creative where Jessica shared some Project Life inspiration on her blog this week. I have not had time to peruse other people's offerings because I am rushing to get some things done in the house before I work tomorrow and Thursday.
As always, if you are the least bit interested in Project Life, I urge you to check out Becky Higgins' site. I just love recording our family happenings this way. Takes the stress out of the process and allows me to go with the flow. Just love it!
