I was raised in a family with 5 children. Dinners out, a rare occurrence, who wanted to take five kids to a restaurant? But, dinners ordered out and eaten in, happened a little more often. Our dinner of choice, pizza. Dad would call Tony's and order two large pies and a large number 3 sandwich. We were thrilled.
Today, on our way to our nation's newest national park, we stopped by Little Falls and discovered that Tony's is still there. Not only was Tony's still there, but so was Tony. We spent a bit of time chatting. He remembered my dad, an Italian brother, and our standard order.
Tony's has been in the same place on Main Street for over 35 years. In his mind, nothing in Little Falls has changed in that time. For me, everything seems to have changed.
One thing that has stayed the same, Tony's pizza. Delicious.
