Really, the process of catching up would be so much easier if my printer would just cooperate!
Since I am losing the battle with the printer I have decided to just forge ahead. Leaving myself little notes of what needs to be added and where!
Week 38 begins with the Sunday after the Tri. And what a great day that was.Mark and I headed out to Pennsylvania and the Quilt Fest. It was a beautiful day for a ride and the show was wonderful. In all of my years of quilting, this is one quilt show that I have never been to. So happy we were able to make it this year.
Monday and Tuesday of this week were days off. That's right, a 4 day weekend right at the beginning of the school year. I spent time sewing and organizing. The best way I know to spend a couple of days! The school days this week were typical. I was still trying to get myself into some kind of routine, but that wasn't working. Wednesday, a stay in kind of evening. Thursday, after dinner we ventured out to pick up a birthday gift for my niece, Olivia. The moon was gorgeous and we spent a bit of time trying to capture the image, but mother nature just can't be copied!
Friday was another regular school day. We met my sister and two of my niece's for dinner at Applebee's before heading over to The Ritz for their production of LUV. It was a great day all around!
Saturday, a day to really sleep late. I did wake up with just a bit of time to hit the farmer's market before it closed. I must say, I really cut it close this week! We picked up plenty of fresh vegetables. I just love the colors of all the fresh food!Although I am currently playing catch up, I am still so very pleased with this project. I love the process, I love the memory keeping, I love that there are so many little pieces of life that I now notice an appreciate.
