Speeding through the year. I am on a mission to get as caught up as possible this weekend on Project Life; that is between report cards, chores, finishing an over-due baby quilt and Thanksgiving at Jason's Sunday afternoon. I will do the best I can!
Week 39 was the week Mark traveled back to Illinois for his 40th high school reunion. I know, I didn't realize that I married such an "old man".
It was also the week that the washing machine broke!
It was also the week that I traveled up to NY to visit Jess. It was a terrific week! There were quite a few photos of my visit to Jess' so I added a 6x12 insert to hold an additional 6 photos. My time with Jess was such a treat in the midst of everything going on around me. I think my favorite memory from this week was riding our bikes to brunch Saturday afternoon. I remember days spent just like that when Jess was growing up. The difference being that back in the day, I was the one in front constantly looking back to be sure Jess was still there. Our roles were reversed. This time it was Jess riding in front, looking back, making sure I was there.
During my weekend visit we made sauce, baked ziti, did food shopping and just generally hung out relaxing with each other. We watched High Society and reminisced. So much fun!Other events from the week, a day off from school midweek allowed me to spend some time with Bunkey. I nearly finished a queen size quilt top, finished hand tying a baby quilt and made Halloween pillowcases for my two grown children. (Bunkey's idea!)
In my Project Life album, Week 39 looks like this. YES! Another week completed!
