Yesterday was all about family traditions. This time it was in terms of gifts. Mark's sister and her husband always send a gorgeous Christmas Wreath from Blue Hill, Maine. It is always so fresh and smells so great right out of the box. I think that is also one of my favorite parts of the holidays, the fresh smell of pine in the house. Yum!
The wreath arrived, nestled in red tissue paper, ready to hang. I place it right in the center of the banister in the loft, over-looking the family room. This year, instead of white pine, I hung a garland of red cedar and I must say that I really love the look.Beautiful! The house is really coming together and I love the way it looks when it is decorated for the holidays!
December Daily is a project that I started doing several years ago, following in the footsteps of Ali Edwards. Each day I am linking my posts to her blog. If you are interested in the December Daily concept, you can read about it here. If you are just looking for daily inspiration, try looking here.
