Week 46. Boy is this year racing by. This was the last full week before Thanksgiving. This was also the week my first cold of the season started and the week we had a friend visiting from Seattle.
This is the week I finally got my space cleaned up and my suitcase from my Miami trip put away. It seems like forever since I've had a weekend at home. Sundays at home are my favorite, especially when the Giants cooperate and win. That wasn't the case this week!
The photo in the lower left hand pocket is one that I took on Monday morning of Marsha's tree. It just has the most magnificent colors this time of year. Tuesday, my nightstand with at lease two Starbucks' mugs. One for tea and one for water. I am trying to reduce my intake of soda. Since I was not feeling well this week, I skipped dinner out with Mark and Robin and took myself to Starbucks for a general cheering up. The store was all decorated for the holiday so in addition to my Chai Latte, I also picked up one of their new Christmas cds.
Friday we treated ourselves to a dinner out at the Silver Diner. We were looking for a quiet evening so we stopped at Barnes & Noble which was anything but quiet. They were having a school fundraiser and after being run into by unchaperoned children several times we decided that it was anything but relaxing. Off to the Little Shop where I picked up fabric for a couple of holiday pillowcases and we ran into Bunkey in the parking lot. We spent a bit of time catching up and then it was off to home and bed. The cold is really kicking my butt!
Saturday we stayed home with the exception of a wonderful walk over by the library and towards the crrek. The fall colors were beautiful and the air was crisp but not freezing. The perfect day to enjoy the colors of fall and some time outside.
