Week 6 is done. A day later than I had wanted, but done none-the-less. Last week was pretty routine as weeks tend to go around here.
So happy that I chose Clementine for my base kit this year! I just love the colors and the journaling cards. The beginning of Week 6 found me cleaning out my stash in search of fabric for a very specific purpose. While it felt really good to accomplish that task, I really had no time to sew or scrap. That was not good. When Monday came I was very reluctant to head back to school.
Week 6 was also the last week of "My Resolution" which meant I had to log in some pretty serious gym time. Monday, I swam. Tuesday, after working til 6 and doing the food shopping and running a couple of errands, I biked over 22 miles at the gym. Mark was at a writer's meeting so he did not even notice that I was not around! Tuesday I also woke up to a bit of snow on the ground. I had my fingers crossed for a delayed opening, but no such luck!
Wednesday, after work, I headed over to Bunkey's for craft night. I ran a couple of errands and picked up some craft supplies for Valentine's Day at school before getting to her house. We had such fun working on quilting projects. A light dinner and then more quilting!Mark was up in North Jersey on Wednesday evening and on Thursday I woke up to the "new" New York mug from Starbucks. I just love it! Isn't the little yellow taxi cute? Friday Mark and I drove out to the quilting ladies' house to pick up my Seaglass Log Cabin quilt. I just love how it turned out. We also stopped at Panera for dinner and at the Loft to spend my last $40. We hurried home before the snow hit.
Unfortunately, the snow did not amount to much and on Saturday we did not even have to shovel. We did head to the gym together later in the day. The majority of my day was spent sewing. It was such a wonderful Saturday! Full of everything that I love.
So here it is, in one condensed spread, Project Life Week 6.There are really so many reasons to love this project. I cannot begin to share how good it feels to have so much of our story documented in one spot!
As usual, I will be linking up over at The Mom Creative. Please stop by and check out Jessica's first week spread and all the wonderful albums shared by the others that link up over there.
If you are the least bit interested in Project Life, I suggest you check out Becky Higgins' blog. Have a wonderful week!
