I had such a great day today. It was truly magical.
We finally put away the 7 1/2 foot tree and placed it in the garage until next year. The rest of the day was spent on laundry and sewing, except for a brief trip to the gym. Fifteen miles on the bike - yippee!
I was working on a couple of quilts that are on the short list. It felt so good to have everything right at my fingertips. It is much easier to accomplish something when I can find it!
I also pulled out this little project that I had started nearly a gazillion years ago. Well, not that long ago but it was a couple of years at least! I originally saw the pattern on the All People Quilt site.Not much you say, but just wait. Look at this...
Isn't it terrific? A quilted cover for a composition notebook. I love it! I start a new quilt club on Thursday and we need a small notebook to keep quilting notes in. I think this is just the notebook for that class! I also think I need to make a quilted cover for my writer's notebook in school.
Ah, there is nothing like having a project finished. Only 278 to go!Excuse me while I bask in the glory of a finished project!
