Filled with so much of what I love. I slept way too late - I love a good nights' sleep. There were pancakes for breakfast and the New York Times Book Review to peruse. The sun was shining and our adirondack chairs were beckoning. Although, in reality, it was a bit too chilly to take a seat. The wind chimes in the yard sounded clear and crisp as they moved in the light breeze. The birds sang happily, anticipating warmer weather I think.
I worked in my studio on a scrapbooking project and that felt good. Just a peek at my creative process which is messy!
Once I make a mess, I am generally able to get a look at my big picture and start pulling a project together and that is exactly what happened today.
Working with the pink album sort of narrowed my color choices and in the end I think I will be pleased with the combination of pink and green. I was surprised to see just how many green papers I had hiding in my stash!
Mark made a tofu and veggie dish for dinner. I roasted green beans as a side and they were delicious. Next we were off to the theater. We have season tickets to The Ritz and always look forward to a great show. Tonight was no exception. The show, Boeing, Boeing is one I had never seen but it had us laughing nearly the entire time. Now we are home and getting ready to settle in. I need to be sure to get to bed at a reasonable time this evening. I cannot afford to sleep til noon everyday!
