Are you?
Next week Ali Edward's is again documenting A Week in the Life. This is one of my favorite projects of all time. I love it.
Ali will begin her documenting on Monday and you can read about her preparations here. I will begin my documentation on Sunday. I prefer to start my weeks on Sunday, it's just how I am. This Sunday I will compete in my third and last triathlon of the season at Sandy Hook. That's as good a reason as any to begin my week on Sunday!
After finishing work on Tuesday, my first day with students, I felt the need for a creative break. It really has been too long since I have done anything even remotely creative. So, I took out my paper and created the cover page for my album. I am in love with it!Again I will be working in the 8 x 8 format. I picked up an album on clearance at Target. It was a very good price which made up for the fact that it is GREEN. Certainly not one of my favorite colors but, cheap is good!
I love the ghost letters and I loved using my stamps! I am happy to have at least a plan in place for this year's documentation. The last time I had a plan, 2011, I was much better at following through with the process. You can actually see most of my daily posts here. I guess I should think about my focus for the week so that I actually commit to the daily recording.
During our Week in the Life, 2012, I did a pretty good job of documenting, but the album is pretty much not complete because of my quandry about where to get my pictures printed. I think that I have that resolved and I will be ordering my photos for that album along with the photos for this year's album. I will be using an 8 x 8 photo as the first page for each day of the week. That will set the tone for the whole album!
Week in the Life is such a great project and it is so interesting to look back and see how our life has changed!
