Since tomorrow is the officially start of fall I decided to spend today preparing. We picked up these gorgeous leeks at the farmers' market this morning.Right now they are simmering in a pot filled with carrots and potatoes to make a delicious potato-leek soup. Next to the pot of potato soup is a pot filled with mushroom/lentil and carrot soup which will soon become tonight's dinner. Fall is not fall without a big pot of soup!
Scrapbooking supplies were moved to the kitchen table so that I could scrap while I cook. On the agenda for today, catching up with Project Life and the mini album from our seven thousand mile road trip.
Today was a very relaxing and productive day. Hoping for the same type of day tomorrow!
