The day before the night before Christmas. What a full day we had here at home. Lots of getting ready and lots of just catching up with ourselves.
First we had chocolate chip cookie baking which is so easy thanks to our Christmas gift last year, the Kitchenaid mixer. We had no baking soda in the house so I had to send Mark out. The dough was so soft that we ended up with several oversized cookies! So happy that did not affect the taste!
Mark waited very impatiently for the cookies, as you can see. the ornaments were finally all on the tree so I was able to put the star up. I did not do a great job, a little crooked, but it did stay up!
The day ended with lots of Christmas music on the stereo, the Sing-Off on the tv and the wrapping of presents! A great day before, the night before, Christmas!
