It started snowing as I was on my way home from a rendevous with my BFF. She was delivering my planner, the one we use to schedule our together time. We met in the parking lot of Michael's but since the snow started just as she arrived we exchanged goodies and then were on our way. No need to be out and about with snow falling and the temperature dropping.
Immediately I took out the trash and snapped the picture above as I walked back indoors. That was about 6 this evening.
At about 9 this evening the old fellow looked like this:
I took a measurement of the snow accumulation outside our front door - depending on where the tape measure was placed it measured between 3 and 4 inches.
Now it is near eleven and we have had no call from the school district. I am heading to bed just in case we have school. Several school districts in our area have already announced that they would be closed tomorrow and the governor has issued a state of emergency closing all state offices tomorrow. While I am not a fan of snow days, just because they need to be made up, I am less a fan of driving in snow and ice. Here's hoping!
