Week Nine was such a busy week - it is a wonder that I survived! It all began with my niece's 16th birthday party on Sunday. BOWLING!
You know how I feel about leaving the house on Sunday, but it was Amanda's Birthday party and you know how I feel about Amanda! We had such fun. As you can see by the scoreboard, I am not a bowler. That actually was my lowest score of the day, I did better in earlier games, but my knees started screaming and that was it! Before heading over to the bowling alley I made a 2 page layout for Amanda of the pictures from her Sophmore Cotillion. I love how it came out. Monday I was still dealing with the headache and nausea from the week before, I came home from work and went straight to bed. Mark picked me up a Starbucks' treat while he was out. I love Starbucks and my very thoughtful hubby!
Tuesday, again, I was in bed immediately after we got home from food shopping. I cannot continue this way! Wednesday I had a meeting for work until 6pm. I vowed not to go to bed until closer to 9:30 so I busied myself with school work and a bit of reading. Thursday, it was more of the same. School, then a 2-hour professional development workshop that I helped plan and then a 2-hour quilt class. I wandered into the house after 9, exhausted. Thankfully Friday was a relatively easy day at school. I had a couple of parents coming in to be mystery readers to celebrate a couple of student birthdays. Then we had the pizza lunch that my students' earned for raising over 1,000 boxtops. After recess, it was the jump rope for heart assembly.
After work the hectic-ness (it is a word) continued. We picked up a rug that Naya wanted Jason to have, then there was dinner and computer organizing work at Bunkey's and then Les Miserables at my niece Olivia's school. As a freshman she was a member of the ensemble. They did a wonderful job and I am so proud of her!
Saturday was a lay low kind of day. I had an errand to run but after that I was home the entire day. One of Jason's dear friends stopped by with her baby for a visit! So exciting to see little miss Arya. We had such a nice visit!
The picture I included for Saturday is actually a photo I copied from facebook. It is Jason and his buddies from work posing for the camera while working the Philly Craft Beer Festival. I love including photos form my kiddos in my Project Life album!
I am still loving the Midnight Edition. The simple color scheme, black, white and gold is easy to work with and easy to add embellishments to if I am so inclined.
Tomorrow I will be linking up with Jessica Turner over at The Mom Creative. If you are the least bit interested in Project Life, I encourage to stop over at Becky Higgins' site and check out all of the inspiration!
