Okay, I hate to admit it, but I still love Nancy Drew. During the school year I have such a hard time starting new novels because I cannot stop reading once I am into a book. But I don't have that issue with Nancy Drew. I know that she will be waiting for me whenever I get back to her. Generally I can read a book in an hour or two. I cannot seem to put that much time together now that training has started so Nancy and I meet, about once a day, for ten minutes or so. Just long enough to catch me up on her latest escapade, fill me in on the details of life in River Heights and the latest with Hannah Gruen.
The latest copies I have were found at the Book Fair in Collingswood last October. I had forgotten I had them until I cleaned off a bookshelf yesterday. So happy to have a little Nancy in the evening!
