I'm really trying to organize myself. Seriously. I have always been a paper collector and a pile keeper. I am beginning to hate my piles and don't get me started on the paper. I loathe paper clutter and I am on a mission to rid my life of it forever. Well, at least until I travel again...
That's the hard part. I collect paper everywhere I go. So, a couple of weeks ago, when I went to Lancaster with Bunkey, I limited the amount of paper I collected. Then, once arriving home, I put it in a pile and would not move it until I could make decisions about where all that collected paper would go. The ephemera for my scrapbook went right into my Project Life pages. The rest of the paper, I sorted and made a plan.
I would only keep those pieces of paper that serve a purpose, remind me of something I would like to do, provide information that I need.
Then I took care of it, I recorded the information I needed in my planner. Better yet, I actually just took the cards I collected and paper clipped them to the appropriate pages.
The New Jersey Shop Hop, I wouldn't want to forget that!
Quilt Odyssey, in July, I have always wanted to go but I always forget the exact dates. That won't happen this year!
A quilt show in Annapolis, the middle of June, just maybe it's a possiblity.
I know that for many people this action seems like a no-brainer, but for me, I think it is a real break-through. Here's to finding more ways to limit my paper clutter and organize my life!
