Last year Mark and I celebrated the longest day of the year in New York City, just as I had done the year before. We participated in Yoga in Times Square, had a great lunch, hung out in Bryant Park and then met Jess for an early dinner. It was the perfect day!
This year, with the solstice being on a Saturday, I opted not to register for the yoga in Times Square celebration. I figured that I should let those that don't usually get to participate have a chance to do so.
Good thing too! With my hip surgery on Tuesday, I don't think that it would have been a good idea to attempt the journey up to NY and the yoga.
Instead, I spent a pleasant day in my studio. Again I am attempting to reorganize so that my space is usable! I did take a short break to visit the Wild Birds Unlimited store and then we grabbed a late lunch at Zinburger, sitting on the patio to enjoy this gorgeous day!
The organization of my projects is coming along. I have my new 31 bags to help and I am attempting to prioritze my projects so that I am able to complete quite a few once school is out for the summer. It has been a very productive day!
