The last Tuesday and Wednesday of this second grade school year. It has been a flurry of half days - it always is at the end of the year. This year we bought our 2nd graders small backpacks so that they could write compliments to each other. It turned out great. The kids did a wonderful job. They were thoughtful and really kind toward each other.
The best part was when the students went back to their seats and read all of the kind comments. There were smiles all around and that's a good thing!
By the way, that's me on crutches at the top left of the photo, didn't realize that Brittany included me in the shot!
