I'm running late, as usual! I want to get September's Supernova block in the mail by Friday, but I do not think that that will happen as it is almost 10 here and I am still decompressing after back-to-school night. I am excited about the fabrics that I am working with this month. First up is this great batik that I picked up in Delaware on my hop down there in July. The colors are just perfect for our blocks.
I am loving how these fabrics work together. So happy and beachy!
I think I have settled on these seven fabrics. The photo just doesn't do them justice. I am over-thinking this, just a little. But you see, I was not thrilled with the way my last block turned out. I think in the mix it will be just fine, still not happy with it as a stand alone. I am waiting on word about this month's challenge, I have no idea what we need to share with our buddy this month. I still need to do last month's share so I am further behind than I thought. I have a very patient quilt buddy, thank goodness. It is all good.
