Here it is, Day 5 of school, and we're still working through some organizational issues. Never before have I had so many students who have no routine for going home. Since I am receiving notes daily I decided I had best do something about it. I made signs for the different ways that we travel home and I am putting velcro up below the signs. As I receive notes, I will have the students move their name to the appropriate dismissal sign. That way the students are aware, I am aware and we have a visual check at the end of the day. Once I have the signs up I will share them. Right now I am waiting on the laminator. As I mentioned above, we are still working through some organizational issues.
Here's to the next five days! Thankfully there is a weekend in the middle!
