Getting back to school involves a huge adjustment for me. I am not a morning person and being at school before 7:30 takes its toll. Now that we are officially beyond the "new" of the school year, it feels good to be creating our new routines.
The best part of new routines is making time for exercise. Being injured and dealing with the after effects of minor surgery left me a bit heavier. Now I am two weeks into a regular schedule of going to the gym at least three days a week. This week the pool opened again so I am able to switch up between the elliptical and swimming. I have lost a couple of pounds and my eating habits are improving. My tri-buddy and I are making progress and planning events for the coming season. I am still considering The Bridge Run, I will have to see about that!
I have set aside every Thursday to spend with Bunkey. We sew and catch up, not that there is a great deal to catch up on since we talk every day but you know how it is with your BFF, there is always something to talk about!
Today I marked the last pile of student papers that I had hanging around and I am just about ready to set up my new files. Things are moving in the right direction.
