30 Days of Gratitude - Day 3

Day 3 - 30 Days of Gratitude: We have the best library! Mark and I can be found at the library two to three times a week, sometimes more! As a teacher I find the library an endless resource. So often I find myself gathering materials for a unit of study in our 2nd grade classes. Most recently, when we first introduced nonfiction texts, we wanted the students to begin by exploring the same topic. I think I borrowed 40 books on bats along with a couple of videos. What a gift! It certainly helps when money and resources are short. It offers our students a variety of materials to entice their curiousity.
