Day 27 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Thanksgiving spent with family, especially both my kiddos! It was a wonderful day filled with family, food and fun. Lots of great conversation and time spent just being together. My son always says that Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday because of the opportunity to spend time with family and I am inclined to agree!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 26
Day 26 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Three for dinner! Woohoo! Jessie came home on Wednesday after a gruelling trip on the train through sleet and snow. So happy she continues to make the trip home for Thanksgiving - it wouldn't be the same without all my kiddos home for the holiday. Wednesday evening - dinner for three and it was great.

Day 25 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Grateful for gorgeous skies and the beauty of nature as the seasons change. This fall has been gorgeous! The colors have popped and the weather has been just perfect. I am so grateful to be able to enjoy the changing of the seasons.

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 24
Day 24 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Postal love sent by a dear friend. When Naya told me she was crafting, I had no idea that I would be the recipient of her craftiness! Aren't these leaves just wonderful? I used them to decorate the buffet in the dining room. They look wonderful with my fall decorations and her artwork just makes them pop! Such a sweet surprise from a wonderful friend!

Day 23 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and awesome company! Livy and I spent a lazy Sunday afternoon. I think her's was lazier than mine. There was football on the tv, report cards on the computer and lots of pajama wearing going on. I just love low-key Sundays!

Day 22 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Wow! Livy and local theater all in one night! How did I get to be such a lucky girl? We had tacos for dinner thanks to Mark and a wonderful evening at The Ritz in Oaklyn. Our usual front row seats with an added guest. It was a wonderful performance and a great evening. I love sharing our local theater with friends!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 21
Day 21 - 30 Days of Gratitude: A visit from a faraway friend. It was so nice to have Robin join us for an evening. A nice dinner at home accompanied by lots of conversation. This is the time of year for gathering with friends and catching up. Mark and Robin have been friends for years and I love to see the two of them together, it happens way too infrequently now that Mark lives on the East Coast with me. Every time we are together it is as though we have never been apart. I love friendships like that!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 20
Day 20 - 30 Days of Gratitude: Finally cleaned and ready for company. I am thrilled that this part of my "job" is complete. We anticipate quite a few guests between this weekend and the end of December. Having the guest room cleaned is one way to keep my anxiety at bay. It truly is the little things that make me feel blessed, a clean guest room and friends to visit!

Day 19, 30 Days of Gratitude: So very grateful for the gift I received from my hubby last Christmas. I have not had the opportunity to play with it very often, but as I prepare to complete the framework for my December Daily Album, I am excited to play with my "old" new toy! On Wednesday I added my credits to the store so that when I am finished with report cards, I can get to work immediately! I love having something fun to look forward to!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 18
Day 18 - 30 Days of Gratitude: This is what I walked into on Tuesday morning. Day 18, I am grateful that everything I needed was on top of the pile. Yup, it doesn't often happen like that but on Tuesday I was blessed to find just what I needed on top of the pile. I spent the better part of Tuesday moving everything from the computer desk to the top of my actual desk. I did find what I was looking for, but I spent the better part of today moving everything off my desk and onto the computer desk. I am hopeless. I can say that each time I move the piles, they do get smaller! Yup, another thing to be grateful for!
