The story of today includes a very full day at school followed by an evening spent working on report cards. I mysteriously lost my flash drive with all my previous work, so I was starting from scratch. We received gifts that I had ordered in the mail and it took all of my energy not to focus on Christmas.
The story of December 3rd also includes the hanging of our Sea Isle Wreath, our annual gift and a little bit of hand sewing on some holiday gifts.
The page protector on the left side of the page features the two 4x4 openings along with the 2x8 section that I will fill with holiday baublies over the weekend. I took a picture of the wreath hanging in its prime location and the gifts from the Body Shop.
The left side of the page features a large 4x6 opening and 6, 2x2 pockets. I left a couple of the pockets open and filled the others with patterned paper. The large glitter "3" is one of my favorites! The center section includes the card that arrived with the wreath.
Last year my approach to December Daily was very methodical. Each spread included the same page protectors which made the whole process really kind of mindless. This year I need to think a bit more. I am not sure I like that. With report cards and conferences and traveling out of town for business, I probably should have stuck with a system that I was used to and that worked well for me. Ahh, we will see how it goes. Right now our printer is out of ink so there will be no more printing of photos until I get to the Office Depot. Well, that's not happening tonight. Mark is off and we are planning on watching either a movie or holiday show. We are attempting to grab any relaxing moments that we can get!
