Saturday is my sleep as late as I need to day. It is also one of the days I set aside to stay at home, if at all possible. Today, it is not possible. Trixie, my 10 year old Nissan, needed a checkup and that started our day at 8am this morning with the first diagnosis. Fortunately I was able to go back to sleep.
Once I was up, however, there were too many things to do to keep me at home. Pick up the car, go to the library, pick up ink and binders at Office Depot, Valentine’s Day cards at Hallmark, and a quick visit to the gas station.
At home, the bed was made, for the first time in several days. The laundry from Wednesday finally got folded. School work and organizing is happening here at my little workspace and Mark is busy doing something in his office.
Tonight will find us out of the house again. Our season tickets at The Ritz begin tonight with “The Opening”. While I am excited to go, I really get lazy when the weather is cold and I love a night to sit inside and sew. Sewing has not been happening enough lately. Perhaps I better get a few stitches in while I can!
