Snow shoveling happened on more than one occasion today. It was light, fluffy snow and the shovel just swept it off the driveway and the sidewalk. I usually only clear a path from the garage to the car, but I am expecting a couple of packages tomorrow so I decided to do the front path to the house also. I think one of my favorite things to photograph is snowflakes. They are just so pretty!
Snow days, in March, are my favorite. The days will be made up in June and everyone knows that it is easier to get out of bed when the weather is warmer.
Mark did go into work today and because of the nature of his job, he did not get home until after 3. The roads were treacherous. I was worried the entire time he was out of the house. Fortunately he made it home safely and we enjoyed our snow day together.
Around 5pm, with the snow still falling, I went outside for my second round of shoveling. Fortunately the snow was still light and even though the temperature was dropping, it still felt good!
Our snowman did not fair so well this winter and I believe that I am ready to bring him inside and call it a season. Not sure he will be repaired, Mark is not a fan of the snow. Me, I love it. This snowstorm was the perfect way to end winter. Now I am ready for spring. Bring on the sunshine!
